Trial Agreement
Last updated 26 July 2026
These terms cover the free trial. Everything else — your account, your content, your privacy — is covered by our Terms of Service.
1. What the trial gives you
Once you sign up and publish, you can use wed.cards free for the trial period. That includes a set number of invitation views and guests, shown on our pricing page. To carry on past those limits, you'll need a paid plan.
2. What you agree not to do
- Use the service for anything other than your own wedding or celebration, or one you've been asked to organise.
- Take the service apart, copy how it works, or try to extract the code behind it.
- Remove or hide our name and branding from the invitation or anything it produces.
When the trial ends, access to paid features stops. Your invitation and guest list aren't deleted — see section 6.
3. Who owns what
Your content stays yours. Your names, photos, wording and guest list belong to you, and nothing in this agreement changes that.
The platform stays ours. The design, code and everything that makes wed.cards work belongs to us. Please don't copy it or share how it works with others.
4. Content you upload
You're confirming that you have the right to use everything you upload — photos, wording, and your guests' details. If someone brings a claim because you uploaded something you weren't entitled to, that falls to you rather than to us.
Building an invitation means putting personal details online. You decide how private it is: add an access code if you'd rather not have it public, and think about who you share the link with.
5. What we promise, and what we can't
We build wed.cards carefully and we'll always take genuine care with your invitation and your information. What we can't promise is perfection — the trial is provided as it is, and we don't guarantee it will be free of every fault or always available.
Where something goes wrong despite that care, or because of something outside our control, we aren't responsible for indirect or knock-on losses. This doesn't cut across anything the law won't let us exclude, and it doesn't reduce our responsibility to look after your information properly — that stays with us either way. Our full position is in Terms of Service.
6. Your data during and after the trial
Trial data is treated exactly like paid data. Same security, same rules, same rights. A trial isn't an excuse to look after your information any less carefully.
When the trial ends, your invitation and guest list aren't deleted. You lose paid features, but your content stays there so you can upgrade, download it, or delete it on your own terms.
If you never upgrade, the normal timings apply: invitation and guest details are erased 12 months after your wedding date, and an account that's gone 24 months without a sign-in is closed. We email you at least 30 days before either happens.
At any point you can download everything or delete your account from Profile → Privacy & Data. See our Privacy Policy and How long we keep things.
7. Ending the trial
You can stop using the trial whenever you like. We can end it if this agreement is being broken — and if we do, we'll tell you why and give you a chance to download your data first.
8. General
Indian law applies, and any dispute would be handled by the courts of Sangli, Maharashtra, India. If a consumer law where you live gives you more protection, that still stands. If any part of this agreement turns out not to hold, the rest carries on as normal.
